Our Story

In 1998, my wife and I and our five children bought 35 acres in the country and built our own house. I had my Professional Civil Engineering License, so I did almost everything myself. Two years and two more kids later, our favorite part of the process was building our own decks. Since then I have acquired my level A General contracting license.

In a culture often lacking in work ethic, I wanted to be with my sons and teach them to work hard, and Denver Deck Builders was born. Our company was built on the foundation of relationships, craftsmanship, and diligence.

Since the year 2000, my seven sons and I have poured ourselves into building a reputation for quality workmanship at a superior value. One of my sons now has his MBA and another his PE license in Civil Engineering.
